Our Veterinary Rapid Test Kit Range

From single-target antigen cassettes to multi-disease combo panels covering the most common canine and feline infections in clinical and shelter settings.

What Is Veterinary POCT?

Veterinary POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) refers to rapid diagnostic tests performed directly in the clinic, shelter, or field — delivering a result in 10–15 minutes without sending samples to an external laboratory. Our veterinary diagnostic kits use lateral-flow immunochromatography for a clear, instrument-free visual readout.

Fast on-site answers are critical in veterinary medicine: a suspected canine parvovirus case in a shelter, an unvaccinated kitten with diarrhea, or a feline coronavirus investigation all demand immediate clinical decisions. Veterinary rapid tests let practitioners triage, isolate, and treat before infections spread through a kennel or cattery.

Detection Method
Colloidal gold lateral-flow immunoassay (LFIA), with fluorescence options for selected analytes. Clear visual results in 10–15 minutes, no reader or lab equipment required.
Specimen Types
Whole blood, serum, plasma, or fecal samples — and ocular/nasal swabs for specific assays — depending on the target pathogen and cassette format.
Key Targets
Canine: Canine Parvovirus (CPV) Test, Infectious Canine Hepatitis (CAV) Test, Canine Rota-Adenovirus (Rota-Adeno) Rapid Test. Feline: Feline Parvovirus Antigen Test, Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) Test, Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) Test for FIP investigation.

Standard Veterinary Rapid Test Procedure

A simple 4-step protocol for in-clinic use. No laboratory equipment required. Always follow the specific IFU included in each kit.

Collect Sample

Collect the appropriate specimen — whole blood, serum/plasma, or a fecal/swab sample — from the animal according to the kit IFU.

Add to Buffer

Transfer the specimen into the provided buffer tube and mix to release the target antigen or antibody.

Apply to Cassette

Add the indicated number of drops of the prepared sample into the sample well (S) on the test cassette.

Read Result

Read within the IFU-specified time. A line at "C" confirms a valid test; a line at "T" indicates a positive result for the target pathogen.

Colloidal Gold Immunochromatographic Technology

Our veterinary rapid test kits are built on colloidal gold immunochromatographic (lateral flow) technology — the proven point-of-care method for fast, instrument-free detection of canine and feline pathogens, enabling reliable on-site decisions in veterinary practice.

Frequently Asked Questions & Solutions

Our veterinary POCT range covers canine parvovirus, infectious canine hepatitis, and canine Rota-Adenovirus, plus feline parvovirus antigen, feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and feline coronavirus (FCoV). Single-target and combo cassette formats are available.
Our feline coronavirus (FCoV) rapid test detects FCoV antibodies/antigen and supports FIP investigation, but FIP cannot be confirmed by any single rapid test alone. A diagnosis should combine the rapid test result with clinical signs, history, and additional laboratory work-up by a veterinarian.
Not necessarily. Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is common, and most FCoV-positive cats never develop FIP. A positive FCoV result indicates exposure or infection, not an FIP diagnosis. Veterinary interpretation alongside clinical signs is essential.
The Rota-Adenovirus (Rota-Adeno) rapid test detects rotavirus and adenovirus antigens in canine fecal samples — common causes of infectious diarrhea in puppies — for fast point-of-care screening.
